Description
Linkages between human health and soil health have been long been explored, yet reliable information on those linkages are lacking or even absent. In that informational vacuum, misconceptions and misinformation can hinder productive research and evidence-based policy. This talk will be a brief overview about the linkages we do know, those we should forget and those we should explore.

About the Speaker
Broadly, Dr. Wade’s research is primarily in soil health and nutrient management. His work bridges between the worlds of applied and basic research in high intensity cropping systems. Specifically, his research focuses on developing robust measurements of soil health and fertility and integrating them into decision support tools for growers and policymakers alike.
