Looking to advance your research towards commercialization?
The Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences at Washington University sponsors monthly presentations at Venture Café that bring together innovative biomedical scientists in St. Louis with the local entrepreneurial community. The scientists give brief presentations on the significance and current state of their research, along with next steps and barriers for translation of their science to clinical use. This is followed by an open discussion with the business community. Our goal is for both the audience and the presenter to learn something, and possibly establish a connection for future collaboration.
We are seeking faculty presenters are who are interested in collaborating with the local business/entrepreneurial community to speak about their innovative research.
Each month we have two speakers who present on related topics. Typically, each speaker gives a 15 minute presentation followed by 10 minutes of open discussion.
Sessions are held from 4:00-4:45pm on the third Thursday of every month via Zoom. The audience consists of about 50 people who want and can make things happen. To see some of our past events, visit https://ictspm.wustl.edu/news-events/past-events/.
