Does your “normal” movement set you up for injury? Come find out why this might be the case when Drs. Harris-Hayes and Lanier give their talk on Precision Movement.
Movement precision is a vital element in injury prevention and recovery in sports and performing arts. Drs. Harris-Hayes and Lanier, from WashU Physical Therapy and Orthopedic Surgery, will talk about applying precision movement to everyday activities to lower injury risk as well as mitigating injury-related pain and enhancing recovery from injury treatment.
On the third Thursday of every month , ICTS Precision Medicine hosts a session featuring WashU faculty working in translational genomics/precision medicine areas. Talks are typically oriented toward technology, diagnostics, informatics, and precision interventions based on clinical genotypes and phenotypes. Some of the talks encompass biotechnology and/or entrepreneurial efforts and opportunities.
